We are a restaurant that simply celebrates our place in the world. Located on Bunganditj Country in Mount Gambier, on South Australia's Limestone Coast, we honour the produce, growers, and winemakers of a region we're proud to call home.
Every visit is a snapshot of what we love most right now – food and drinks shaped by the seasonality and creativity of the Limestone Coast.
Housed in a nondescript brick building on the industrial edge of Mount Gambier, we’re proof you should never judge a book by its cover. Since opening in 2023, Elementary has been recognised by Gourmet Traveller as one of South Australia's Top 10 Restaurants and by delicious. magazine as one of Australia's Top 100 Restaurants.
We have no fixed menu. No pretence. Just an honest expression of where we are. Come and share in our celebration of this place, our home.
